Hanelle Reeder

Student Apprentice

Hanelle started dancing at age ten at Springfield School of Dance under the direction of Mrs. Debbie Moore. She had the opportunity to attend Cecchetti exams, seminars, and perform with the school as a Company Member until 2008. Hanelle also studied Irish dancing at Pat’s Clogging Studio, where she performed with the Celtic Fire at Artsfest and the MSU Festival in 2007. She continued her training in classical ballet at Credo Dance Academy under the direction of Kate Riegler, dancing as a member of CDA Ensemble. Hanelle also attended Steve Rooks' summer intensives, studying modern dance under Mr. Rooks and classical ballet with Kim Raymond. In 2009, while studying with Springfield ballet under Ashley Paige, she danced multiple roles in The Nutcracker including Arabian, Flowers, and Snow. Hanelle became a Trainee with Petra Ballet Company in 2010. In Summer of 2011, she attended the Atlanta Ballet Summer Intensive under the supervision of Sharon Storey and Armando Luna. Hanelle currently dances with Petra Ballet Company as a Student Apprentice.
