Cathryn Smith

Company Member

Cathryn is from Boone, North Carolina. She received ballet training at Studio K under the direction of Shannon Hatley, Lauren Greene and Cay Harkins. She also studied ballet and modern dance at Appalachian State University under Regina Gulick-James and Emily Daughtridge. A highlight in her training was private study under Cynthia Beers, who encouraged her to use dance for the Lord’s glory. Cathryn attended Ballet Magnificat! Summer Intensives in 2006 and 2007. She is also experienced in teaching and choreography. Cathryn moved to Springfield, Missouri in December 2007 to become a Company Member.
